To initiate a return, here's what you need to do:
Step One
- A printer is needed to print your return label
- Click ORDERS AND RETURNS (as an elite menber, you can create a return label via your elte account LOGIN)
- Enter Order Number and email address you used to place the order
- Order No. can be found on your email confirmation
- Select the product(s) you wish to return
- Click on the Return Label link
- Print out the return document
Returning more than one product from an order, please note
If you’re returning more than 1 item then you will need to print a return label for each item, however, only 1 shipping label needs to be attached to the outside of the shipping box.
A return form should be included for each item inside of the box.
Step Two
- You can use the original shipping box you received from the Skechers website, or any plain, unmarked cardboard box to ship your return.
- If there are any existing shipping labels, stickers, or other materials on the shipping box, please remove them.
- Separate the pre-paid return label from your completed return form at the perforation. Include your return form(s) with your item(s) in their original packaging and attach the return label to the outside of the shipping box.
Step Three

Any style with the "Machine Washable" icon shown on the product detail page can be safely machine washed with detergent on the gentle cycle and air-dried, we suggest placing them in a pillowcase or laundry bag before washing in machine. Please wash shoes one at a time to avoid discoloration. Do not place shoes in dryer. For shoes with Skechers Memory Foam™ insoles, allow shoes and insoles to air dry for 10 to 12 hours to ensure the insoles are fully dry. Apply a protectant such as Skechers Water Proofer Spray to protect the shoes from water and stains.
Skechers Foamies
Machine wash or hand wash according to instructions on product page for style. If hand wash, use cold water and air dry in shade. Do not place in dryer and do not leave out in the sun.
Shoes Not Marked as Machine Washable
To maintain the quality of your purchase of our shoes, we do not recommend machine washing. We suggest the following steps for any minor cleaning to our shoes:
- Remove excess dirt from the upper and outsole by using a small brush or towel.
- Create a soapy mixture by combining warm water and a small amount (a few drops) laundry detergent.
- Dip the brush or cloth into the soapy mixture. Wipe down the affected area. Apply a small amount of clean, warm water with the brush or cloth and brush/wipe off the excess soap.
- Allow shoes to air dry.
Leather Shoes
Apply a protectant such as Skechers Water Proofer Spray to protect the shoes from water and stains before wearing in wet conditions. Use a leather cleaning lotion or spray such as Skechers Athletic Cleanser to clean. Apply a leather lotion or oil periodically to keep the leather supple. Do not machine wash leather shoes.
Suede or Nubuck Shoes
Brush dry suede/nubuck shoes with a soft brush or dry rubber sponge to remove any clinging dirt. Regular use of a soft brush will keep the nap of the suede free from dust. Stubborn stains should be removed with a commercial stain remover suitable for suede. DO NOT put in the washing machine or dryer. DO NOT immerse in water. Apply a protectant such as Skechers Water Proofer Spray to protect the shoes from water and stains before wearing in wet conditions. Use a suede/nubuck cleaning product to clean shoes. Brush with a suede brush for best results.
Light-Up Shoes
Machine washing light-up shoes is not advised as it may damage the lights. Clean with mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth.
Keeping Shoes Fresh
Apply a deodorizing spray such as Skechers Odor Eliminator Spray to keep shoes fresh and odor-free.

- Always use the USB split cable supplied with your lighted shoes.
- Confirm charging cable and its connection are undammaged prior to using.
- Only plug charging cord to a USB power source rated at 5v, 1a.
- Lift flap on the side of the shoes and insert supplied micro USB end into each charging port.
- Make sure the USB cord is plugged in all the way to ensure shoes are charging
- Lights on shoes will flash while charging and will stop flashing once shoes are fully charged.
- Your SKECHERS lighted shoes will be fully charged in about 2 hours.
- Unplug immediately once shoes are fully charged, do not overcharge or leave unattended.

How You Earn

Return Policy
Skechers Plus members will have a return window of 90 days, increased from the current policy of 45 days.

Welcome to the Skechers Plus loyalty program (“Skechers Plus”). Skechers Plus is organized by Skechers USA Deutschland GmbH (“Skechers”, “we” or “us”) and these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your participation in Skechers Plus. Please read these Terms carefully. By participating in Skechers Plus, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
To participate in Skechers Plus, you must be at least 13 years old and a legal resident of Germany. Employees of Skechers, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their spouses and children are not eligible to participate in Skechers Plus. Bulk buyers and resellers are not eligible to participate in Skechers Plus. Skechers reserves the right to revoke loyalty membership for breach of any of these Terms. By enrolling and participating in Skechers Plus, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. Joining Skechers Plus
If you meet the eligibility criteria above, you can join Skechers Plus by filling out a registration form on www.skechers.de. No purchase is required to enroll in Skechers Plus. Only one account is allowed per individual.
A member must create an online account on www.skechers.de to access points, and begin using membership rewards and benefits.
3. Points
Members of Skechers Plus will earn points for purchases that are made on www.skechers.de. Purchases at stores will not qualify for Points (even if the member purchases Skechers products). Points are awarded after reward certificate, discount, offer or merchandise credit are applied. Items that are ineligible for points earn include gift card purchases, taxes, shipping and payments for any third party services.
Member tier and Silver tier members will earn ten (10) points per one Euro (€1) spent. Gold tier members will earn twenty (20) points per one Euro (€1) spent. Points earned through purchases can be impacted by a member’s tier level and/or bonus point promotions. If a member returns purchased items, the Points earned by the purchase of those items will be deducted from the member’s Point total. In addition to earning Points for purchases, members can also earn Points for certain digital engagement activities with Skechers.
Members can earn points on a maximum of seven hundred and fifty Euro (€750) worth of purchases in a rolling ninety (90) day timeframe. Any additional spend greater than this threshold will not earn points.
Members must be logged into their Program account on www.skechers.de to receive points for their actions. Skechers reserves the right, at its discretion, to retroactively credit Points for interactions where the member was not logged in or did not prove membership, provided sufficient proof of membership and purchase is made available to Customer Care within sixty (60) days of purchase.
4. Expiration of Points
All Points earned by members are valid for three hundred sixty-five (365) days from the date of earning and will expire at the end of this period unless Skechers explicitly states otherwise.
Points are not transferrable between members. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Program Tiers
Skechers Plus has three (3) tiers. Members can progress through these tiers by the amount they spend on eligible products on www.skechers.de.
“Member” tier is the entry-level tier. Members only need to register for Skechers Plus to be a part of this tier. No purchase is required. Members can progress to “Silver” tier and “Gold” tier by spending the required Euro amount within the calendar year (January 1st -December 31st) and completing their online account registration. When moving up Tiers, a member will receive that Tier status for the remainder of the current calendar year plus the subsequent calendar year.
Tier downgrades could happen in the following ways:
If the member spends enough to earn Silver or Gold tier status in the current calendar year and then returns an order/product which brings their total spend in the current calendar year below the thresholds to earn Silver or Gold tier status, then their status will change to reflect their new calendar year spend total.
6. Rewards and Benefits
Entry and progress through each of the above-mentioned tiers will unlock a set of new benefits and rewards for members. Members will have access to the rewards in their current tier and the tiers below them. When a member moves down tiers, they will lose access to benefits from the higher tiers.
When a member earns 1,000 points, a €5 promotional voucher will be eligible for redemption. Points are redeemable only in increments of 1,000 points. Promotional vouchers can only be applied to purchases made by the member on www.skechers.de. No cash back will be provided if the voucher's full value is not utilized. Promotional vouchers will expire sixty (60) days after issuance.
The Birthday Bonus Points benefit enables Member and Silver tier customers to earn twenty (20) points per Euro spent on any purchase made during their birthday month. Gold tier customers earn forty (40) points per Euro spent on any purchase made during their birthday month. Points earned during a customer’s birthday month are subject to the cap of earning points only on up to seven hundred and fifty Euro (€750) of purchases per rolling ninety (90) day timeframe. Customers must submit their birthday information in their online profile in order to participate in the birthday bonus points benefit.
Double Points Day Passes enable Silver tier customers to earn twenty (20) points per Euro spent total on a purchase of their choosing. Silver tier customers are awarded two (2) bonus points passes when they earn Silver tier status and then at the beginning of each calendar year in which they retain their Silver tier status. Any unused bonus points passes will expire at the end of December 31st.
Triple Points Day Passes enable Gold tier customers to earn thirty (30) points per Euro spent total on a purchase of their choosing. Gold tier customers are awarded one (1) triple points pass when they earn Gold tier status and then at the beginning of each calendar year in which they retain their Gold tier status. Any unused bonus points passes will expire at the end of December 31st.
Double and Triple Points Day Passes cannot be used in combination with the Birthday Bonus Points benefit. During a customer’s birthday month, passes will be deactivated and customers will earn bonus points only by the Birthday Bonus Points benefit.
Other benefits not mentioned here may be awarded to members on a surprise and delight basis at the discretion of Skechers.
Specific Rewards and Benefits may be subject to change, discontinuance, limitations, and substitutions by Skechers, at its discretion, and at any time without notice. Already earned Bonus Points will not be affected by such alterations. The total value of rewards applied to a purchase cannot exceed the total cost of the purchase.
Rewards (or the online code) must be entered at checkout on www.skechers.de.
Awards and promotional vouchers are not redeemable for cash and void if copied and where prohibited, licensed or regulated.
7. Use of Account
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account and are fully responsible for any and all activities that occur under their password or account. Members should immediately inform Skechers customer care of any unauthorized use of their password or account or any other breach of security.
Skechers Plus is for members’ personal use only. Members agree not to display, distribute, license, perform, publish, reproduce, duplicate, copy, create derivative works from, modify, sell, resell, exploit, transfer or upload for any commercial purposes, any portion of Skechers Plus. The transfer, sale, or barter (or the attempted transfer, sale, or barter) of promotional vouchers, member exclusive promotional offers, and any misrepresentation of fact relating thereto, may result in cancellation of the member’s account, including any unused Points or claimed but unused promotional vouchers in Skechers sole discretion.
8. Privacy and Consent to Marketing
The information you provide as a member of Skechers Plus will be managed by Skechers as described in the Skechers Privacy Policy.
By becoming a member of Skechers Plus, you consent to receive marketing, promotions, special events, and other communications from Skechers, its affiliates, and brands. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. For information on how to do so, please visit our Privacy Policy.
Enrollment in Skechers Plus is voluntary. By providing your personal information to Skechers, you acknowledge that you fully understand that you are enrolling in Skechers Plus voluntarily and that the enrollment is neither required to complete a purchase transaction nor made in connection with any purchase transaction.
9. Termination; Expiration; Changes to Skechers Plus
You may cancel your Skechers Plus membership at any time by logging into your account on www.skechers.de.
We may cancel your membership at any time for any reason in our sole discretion, including, but not limited to, if we determine that you (a) are ineligible, (b) have not used your account for an extended period of time, (c) violated any term or condition of Skechers Plus or any applicable law or regulation, (d) used your account in connection with bulk buying or reselling, or (e) engaged in any deception, forgery, fraud or committed any other abuse of Skechers Plus. We may revoke some or all of your points or rewards if we determine that you received points or a reward due to an error, through fraud or deception, or in any manner not authorized.
If you cancel your Program membership, you will lose your accumulated points. If you cancel your membership, you may rejoin Skechers Plus by registering at www.skechers.com or on the Skechers mobile app. When restarting your membership, your previously-earned points will not be reinstated. If Skechers cancels your Program membership (i) for good cause or (ii) for a serious violation of any main term or condition of Skechers Plus or any applicable law or regulation or (iii) use of your account in connection with bulk buying or reselling, or (iv) for engagement in any deception, forgery, fraud or committed any other abuse of Skechers Plus, you will lose your accumulated points. If Skechers cancels your Program membership for any other reason, your Bonus points will expire sixty-five (365) days from the date of earning. You may use your earned Bonus Points. You are not eligible to earn Bonus Points anymore.
In all matters relating to the administration of Skechers Plus, the decisions of Skechers will be final. Skechers reserves the right to change or cancel any aspect of Skechers Plus, at any time, with a previous notice of 90 days, in case of substantial changes, so that you can withdraw from the program if you wish. Those changes will go into effect once ended the notice period. By continuing to participate in Skechers Plus, you are agreeing to the revised Terms.
All interpretations of Skechers Plus terms and conditions shall be at our sole discretion. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these rules shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
10. Other Legal Conditions
SKECHERS PLUS IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SKECHERS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, WITH RESPECT TO SKECHERS PLUS (INCLUDING THOSE RELATED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT AND THOSE ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE, OR TRADE).
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SKECHERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING FOR THE LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, OR DATA) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH SKECHERS PLUS, HOWEVER CAUSED, AND UNDER WHATEVER CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY BROUGHT (INCLUDING UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT THEORY OF LIABILITY) EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
THESE TERMS AND SKECHERS PLUS ARE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF GERMANY.
ALL TRADEMARKS, SERVICE MARKS AND TRADE NAMES OF SKECHERS USED IN CONNECTION WITH SKECHERS PLUS (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE SKECHERS NAME) ARE TRADEMARKS OR REGISTERED TRADEMARKS OF SKECHERS. THEY MAY NOT BE USED WITHOUT SKECHERS’ PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION. ANY OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY USED IN CONNECTION WITH SKECHERS PLUS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PATENTS, ISSUED OR PENDING, ARE THE SOLE PROPERTY OF SKECHERS AND/OR ITS LICENSORS. WHAT IS SKECHERS PLUS?
Skechers Plus is a loyalty program through which members can earn points and redeem them for reward certificates and other offers. Skechers Plus members will also receive the benefits listed below, with more benefits to unlock as you become Silver tier and Gold tier members.

ENROLL
How do I enroll in Skechers Plus?
You may enroll in Skechers Plus at www.skechers.de. Anyone living in Germany and ages 18 and above can join. No purchase is necessary, and there’s no fee to join.
EARN
How do I earn points?
You can earn points in two ways:
- By making a qualified purchase at www.skechers.de
- Engage with Skechers Plus digitally by answering surveys, participating in quizzes, and much more! Access these opportunities in your Skechers Plus account online
Can I earn points in-store?
No, currently points can only be earned for purchases made online at www.skechers.de.
How many points do I earn on my purchase?
At Member tier and Silver tier, you will earn ten (10) points for every one (1) Euro spent on qualifying online purchases. At Gold tier, you will earn double points (20 points) per one (1) Euro spent on qualifying online purchases. Points will not be awarded for Skechers merchandise purchased at either Skechers stores or non-Skechers stores, orders with Skechers gift cards as a purchased item, tax, restocking fees, and shipping fees. Points can be earned for purchases made online with gift card payments.
When do points show up in my account?
Points will be posted to your account 24-72 hours after your order has shipped.
I forgot to log in prior to my purchase. Can I get credit for my purchase?
Yes, you have up to 60 days from the date of purchase to submit a missing points request and be credited. To submit a missing points request, email customer care at kundenservice@eu.skechers.com. Please provide a copy of the order confirmation. Please note, members must wait 24-72 hours after the shipping date to submit a missing points request.
Is there a limit on the number of points I can earn?
Members can earn points on a maximum of seven hundred and fifty Euros (750 €) worth of purchases in a rolling 90-day timeframe. Any additional spending above this threshold will not earn points.
Do my points expire?

If I return an item, do I lose the points I earned from purchasing it?
Yes. All returned items will have any points earned from their initial purchase deducted from a member’s account. This may result in a negative points balance in your account if the amount of points deducted from the return is greater than the amount of points available in your account.
EXCEPTION: If the purchase was made prior to the launch of Skechers Plus, where Elite points were earned on the initial purchase will not be deducted.
REDEEM
What can I redeem my points on?
Members can redeem their points in 1.000-point increments for a 5 € reward certificate that can be applied to a purchase made on www.skechers.de. Reward certificates are promotional in nature.
How do I redeem my points for reward certificates?
Members can redeem points through www.skechers.de. In the loyalty dashboard or in the shopping cart, click “REDEEM” to redeem points for a reward.
Do my rewards expire?
Rewards certificates are promotional in nature and are valid for 60 days upon issuance.
Is there a limit on the number of reward certificates I can apply to a transaction?
Members may apply multiple reward certificates on an online purchase up to the transaction value of the purchase. Any remaining reward value above the transaction value will be forfeited.
How do I apply my rewards to an online purchase?
To apply your reward to an online transaction, go to the shopping cart and click the “Apply” button next to your available rewards. To remove the reward certificate from the transaction, click the remove icon next to the reward certificate.
Are there any restrictions on using my rewards?
Yes, you cannot use a reward certificate to purchase a gift card or any order that has a gift card in the order cart. Members cannot use rewards certificates on clearance rack items in Skechers warehouse store locations.
TIERS
How do I become a Silver tier or Gold tier member?
Tier qualification is based on total spending in the calendar year (January 1st – December 31st). To qualify for the Silver tier, members must spend 175 € and to qualify for the Gold tier, members must spend 350 €.
How long does my Tier status last?
When you move up to Silver or Gold tier status you get that status for the remainder of the then-current calendar year, plus an additional calendar year. For example, if you earn Silver status on February 1st, 2022, then you will have Silver status through December 31st, 2023.
Can my tier status be impacted by returned items?
Yes. If you make a purchase with a spend amount that promotes you to a higher tier and then you return items from that purchase, your tier status may change to reflect your new calendar year spend total.

How many points do I earn from my Double and Triple Points Day Passes?
Double Points Day Passes enable Silver tier customers to earn twenty (20) points per Euro spent total on a purchase of their choosing. Triple Points Day Passes enable Gold tier customers to earn thirty (30) points per Euro spent total on a purchase of their choosing.
How can I apply my Double/Triple Points Pass to my purchase?
To apply a bonus points pass to a transaction, go to the shopping cart and click on the “Apply” button next to your bonus points pass in the Skechers Plus Benefits & Offers section. To remove the bonus points pass from the transaction, click the remove icon next to the pass.
How many points do I earn from the Birthday Bonus Points benefit?
The Birthday Bonus Points benefit enables Member and Silver tier customers to earn twenty (20) points per Euro spent on any purchase made during their birthday month. Gold tier customers earn forty (40) points per Euro spent on any purchase made during their birthday month.

Can I combine my Birthday Bonus points benefit with other bonus points promotional offers?
Members cannot stack promotional points offers with their Birthday Bonus benefit. If a member attempts to stack offers, he or she will only earn Birthday Bonus points.

Our contract with you
How we accept your order
You agree that your order is an offer to buy all products and services listed in your order under these terms. All orders must be accepted by us, or we are not obligated to sell the products or services to you. We may choose not to accept orders at our own discretion. Your order is considered accepted by us when we send you a confirmation email to that effect. At this point, a contract between you and us comes into effect.
What if we cannot accept your order?

The goods are not authorized for resale or export
You represent and warrant that you are purchasing products or services from the website only for your personal or private use and not for resale or export.
Price and payment
Where you can find the product price The price of the product (which includes all taxes such as statutory VAT) is the price indicated on the order pages at the time of your order. All prices, discounts, and promotions published on this website are subject to change without notice.
What happens if we display an incorrect price
We strive to provide accurate pricing information. However, it is always possible that despite our best efforts, some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time and to cancel orders resulting from such incidents.
We normally check prices before accepting your order, so we will charge the lower amount if the correct price of the product at the time of your order is lower than the price we quoted at the time of your order. If the correct price of the product at the time of your order is higher than the price quoted to you, we will ask for your instructions before we accept your order. When and how you must pay
You must pay for the products before we dispatch them. We accept payments via PayPal, KLARNA, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card (AMEX, VISA, and Mastercard). You represent and warrant that (I) the credit card information you supply to us is true, correct, and complete, (II) you are duly authorized to use such credit card for the purchase, (III) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (IV) you will pay charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including shipping and handling charges and any applicable taxes, regardless of the amount quoted on the website at the time of your order.
Delivery of Products
Delivery Exclusion
Delivery is only available within Germany.
Delivery Costs
The delivery costs will be shown to you on our website. The prices shown do not include shipping costs and handling fees. All these fees will be added to your order value and listed in your shopping cart and order confirmation email.
When we will deliver the products
During the ordering process, we will inform you when we will deliver the products.
We are not responsible for delays outside our control If the delivery of our products is delayed due to events beyond our control, we will contact you as soon as possible and try to minimize the impact of the delay. As long as we take such measures, we assume no liability for delays resulting from the event. However, if there is a risk of a longer delay, you can contact us to cancel the contract and get a refund for products you have not yet received.
What if you do not arrange for redelivery?
If you are not at home to accept delivery and the products do not fit in your mailbox, we will leave you a message to let you know how to arrange redelivery or collect the products from a depot near you. If you do not arrange for redelivery after a failed delivery and do not collect the goods from the designated depot, we may terminate the contract.
Your rights in case of late deliveries
If we deliver products to you late, you have certain legal rights. If we fail to meet the delivery deadline for a product, you can treat the contract as void immediately if one of these circumstances applies:
- we have refused to deliver the products;
- delivery within the delivery period was of material importance (taking into account all relevant circumstances) or
- you told us before we accepted your order that timely delivery was of crucial importance.
Responsibility and Ownership of Products
When you take responsibility for the products
You are responsible for the products from the moment we deliver the products to the address you provided.
When you own the products
You own the products once we have received full payment.
Returns
Right of return for purchases made through the Skechers website www.skechers.de.
For all purchases through our online shop, we grant our consumers a right of return for a total of 45 days from receipt of goods. You may return unworn goods within 45 days of receiving the goods and receive a refund if you follow the instructions below.
Your statutory right of withdrawal is not affected by this right of return and remains independent of it. This means that as a consumer, you can withdraw from the purchase until the expiry of the withdrawal period under the conditions specified there - without complying with the regulations of this right of return.
Furthermore, the right of return granted here does not limit your statutory warranty rights, which remain fully intact.
How to request a refund
To return an order and receive a refund, download the return form in your Skechers account under www.skechers.de Orders & Returns or as an Elite customer through your account which you can log into via "Login". Please then select the items to be returned and provide the respective return key. For more information, see Help → RETURNS → How do I return an item or in our Return Policy.
Please use the shipping label to return the order to us. Also, please make sure not to remove any labels attached to the goods and to return the shoe to us undamaged in the original shoe box.
It is not possible to return orders from the Skechers online shop to Skechers retail stores.
When we bear the costs of return
We cover the costs of the return shipment.
How you receive a refund from us
If you follow the instructions above, we will refund you the price you paid for the products. The refund will be made according to the payment method you used. As explained below, in some cases we deduct a certain amount from the price.
How the refund is made
You will receive the refund from us within 14 days from the date we received the goods back from you. With the return of the products and the payment, the contract is terminated.
Deductions from refunds in case of withdrawal
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we may deduct from the refund amount (excluding delivery costs) a partial amount corresponding to the depreciation of the products if the loss in value of the goods is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to examine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. If we refund you the price you paid before we have inspected the products and later find that you have treated them in an unacceptable manner, you must repay us the corresponding amount.
Warranty
Skechers is liable for material defects in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions, in particular §§ 434ff. of the German Civil Code (BGB). If the customer is a consumer, the provisions of §§ 474ff. BGB additionally apply. The warranty claim expires for damages resulting from improper handling and use of the goods.
To report a material defect, please fill out the form that you can find in your skechers.de account or via the link to the order status (after dispatch) on the skechers.de homepage and send it to the address indicated on the form.
Our rights to terminate the contract
We can terminate the contract if you violate the contract terms
- We may terminate the purchase contract for a product in writing at any time in the following cases:
- If you do not pay for the products on time and have not paid even 14 days after we reminded you;
- If you do not make it possible for us to deliver the products to you within a reasonable period of time.
Our responsibility for losses or damages
In no event shall we be liable to you or any third party for any consequential, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or enhanced damages, lost profits or revenues or diminution in value, arising out of, or relating to, and/or in connection with any breach of these terms, regardless of (A) whether such damages were foreseeable, (B) whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages and (C) the legal or equitable theory (contract, tort or otherwise) upon which the claim is based.
Our sole and entire maximum liability for any reason whatsoever, and your sole and exclusive remedy for any cause whatsoever, shall be limited to the actual amount paid by you for the products and services you have ordered through our website.
The foregoing limitation of liability shall: (I) only apply to the extent permitted by law and (II) not apply to (A) liability resulting from our gross negligence or willful misconduct and (B) death or bodily injury resulting from our acts or omissions.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable or responsible to you, nor be deemed to have defaulted or breached these Terms, for any failure or delay in our performance under these Terms when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts or circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, flood, fire, earthquake, explosion, governmental actions, war, invasion or hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot, or other civil unrest, national emergency, revolution, insurrection, epidemic, pandemic, lockouts, strikes or other labor disputes (whether or not relating to our workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials, materials or telecommunication breakdown or power outage.
No Waiver
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Skechers.
No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms are not intended to confer any rights or remedies upon any person other than you.
Assignment
You will not assign any of your rights or delegate any of your obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any purported assignment or delegation in violation of this paragraph is null and void. No assignment or delegation relieves you of any of your obligations under these Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is invalid, illegal, void or unenforceable, then that provision will be deemed severed from these Terms and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms.
Entire Agreement
Our order confirmation, these Terms of Sale, our Website Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy will be deemed the final and integrated agreement between you and us on the matters contained in these Terms.
Alternative Dispute Resolutio
Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. You can find the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform here. We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution and do not currently participate in it.

- All offers, purchase contracts, deliveries, and services based on orders from our customers through our online shop www.skechers.com/de-de (hereinafter referred to as the "Webshop") are subject to these General Terms and Conditions.
- The product range in our Webshop is aimed equally at consumers and businesses, but only at end users and not at resellers. For the purposes of these General Terms and Conditions, (i) a consumer is any natural person who enters into the contract for a purpose that cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity (Section 13 of the German Civil Code BGB) and (ii) a "business" is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding the contract, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity (Section 14 Paragraph 1 BGB).
- The customer's terms and conditions do not apply, even if we do not separately object to their validity in individual cases.
- Contracts with the customer are concluded exclusively in German.
- Delivery is only made within Germany.
Conclusion of Contract
- Our offers in the Webshop are non-binding.
- By placing an order in the Webshop (which requires prior registration and acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions), the customer makes a binding offer to purchase the product in question. The customer is bound to the offer until the expiry of the fifth working day following the day of the offer.
- We will send the customer confirmation of receipt of the offer immediately after receiving the offer, which does not constitute acceptance of the offer. The offer is only deemed to have been accepted by us as soon as we declare acceptance to the customer (via email) or dispatch the goods. The purchase contract with the customer is only concluded upon our acceptance.
- Every customer who is a consumer is entitled to revoke the offer in accordance with the special cancellation policy, which is communicated to them during the order process on our website, and to return the goods.
Prices and Payment
- Our prices include statutory VAT but do not include shipping costs.
- Payment is made exclusively by PayPal, KLARNA, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card (AMEX, VISA, and Mastercard).
- The customer is not entitled to offset or retention rights unless the counterclaim is undisputed or legally established.
Dispatch of Goods and Transfer of Risk
- The goods are dispatched within 3-6 days as standard delivery. We strive for punctual delivery as far as commercially reasonable. Usually, we can meet the delivery periods, but timely delivery cannot be guaranteed. The period relevant for determining the shipping date begins on the day the purchase contract is concluded.
- Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we determine the appropriate shipping method and the transport company at our discretion.
- We only owe the timely, proper delivery of the goods to the transport company and are not responsible for delays caused by the transport company. A delivery time stated in the Webshop is therefore non-binding.
- If the customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss, accidental damage, or accidental loss of the delivered goods passes to the customer at the time the goods are delivered to the customer or the customer is in default of acceptance. Retention of Title
- We retain ownership of the goods delivered by us until full payment of the purchase price (including VAT and shipping costs) for the goods in question.
- The customer is not entitled to resell the goods delivered by us under retention of title without our prior written consent.
Warranty
- If the delivered goods have a material defect, the customer can initially demand that we remove the defect or deliver goods free of defects; if the customer is a business, we can choose between remedying the defect or delivering a defect-free item. The choice can only be made by notification in text form (including by fax or email) to the customer within three working days after notification of the defect. We can refuse the type of subsequent performance chosen by the buyer if it is only possible at disproportionate cost.
- If the subsequent performance according to No. 6. (1) fails or is unreasonable for the customer or we refuse subsequent performance, the customer is entitled, in accordance with the applicable law, to withdraw from the purchase contract, reduce the purchase price or demand compensation or reimbursement of his futile expenses. For the customer's claims for damages, the special provisions of No. 7 of these General Terms and Conditions also apply.
- The warranty period is two years from delivery if the customer is a consumer, otherwise twelve months from delivery.
- The following applies only to businesses: The customer must carefully examine the goods immediately after dispatch. The delivered goods are deemed to have been approved by the customer if a defect is not reported to us (i) in the case of obvious defects within five working days after delivery or otherwise (ii) within five working days after discovery of the defect.
Liability
- We are not liable (regardless of the legal grounds) for damages that are typically not to be expected according to the nature of the respective order and goods and with normal use of the goods. The above limitation of liability does not apply in the case of intent or gross negligence, nor in the case of breach of essential contractual obligations, for our liability for guaranteed characteristics within the meaning of Section 444 BGB, due to injury to life, body or health or for our liability under the Product Liability Act.
Data Protection
- We may process and store data relating to the respective purchase contracts to the extent necessary for the execution and processing of the purchase contract and as long as we are obliged to keep this data due to legal regulations.
- We reserve the right to transmit personal data of the customer to credit agencies insofar as this is necessary for the purpose of a credit check, provided that the customer expressly agrees to this in individual cases. We will also not otherwise pass on personal customer data to third parties without the customer's expressly declared consent, except to the extent that we are legally obliged to disclose data.
- We are not permitted to collect, transmit or otherwise process personal data of the customer for purposes other than those mentioned in this No. 8.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
- The purchase contract existing between us and the customer is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, subject to mandatory international private law regulations.
- If the customer is a merchant within the meaning of Section 1 (1) of the German Commercial Code (HGB), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts in Dietzenbach (Federal Republic of Germany) have exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the contractual relationship in question.
